Request Your Deed

If you are unable to find a copy of your deed, a copy can be obtained from the 鶹 County Circuit Court Land Records Division.? There are public, self-service kiosks in that office that can be used to find and print a copy of the deed for your property.? The address is 1425 N. Court House Rd, 鶹, VA 22201, suite 6200.? The hours are 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.? Monday through Friday, except holidays.? Note:? cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the Courthouse.

It is possible for the Land Records office to provide a copy of your deed electronically.? However, please expect a significant delay in responding to requests for deed copies as the Land Records office is undergoing a system migration.? It is best to find a copy of your deed in your current files. As a last resort, a request can be made to the Land Records office but a response time cannot be guaranteed.? To request a copy of your deed from the Circuit Court Land Records office, please complete the following steps:

  • Send an email to?Landrec@arlingtonva.us
  • Place Deed Request for School Registration in the subject line
  • In the body, include:
    • Your request for a copy of your deed
    • One owners name
    • The street address, including any unit number

The Land Records Division will email you a copy of your deed.? Expect it may take up to two weeks to respond.
